How did you meet? Share your “Love Story”
I would love to say it was “love at first site,” but honestly, we were both thinking it would be a “one-night stand” kind of thing and ended up really connecting with each other. I knew I loved him when he treated my family like they were his family.
How long did you plan the wedding after the proposal?
I started planning the wedding before he even proposed. I absolutely love planning things. We lived in Virginia and the wedding was in California, so I started planning more than a year ahead of the date we set

What fun/unique feature of your wedding made you the proudest?
Getting married in the mountains was amazing because I am from Mississippi where there are no mountains at all. I also really like the sand ceremony we did because I originally wanted to get married on the beach and I like that we somewhat incorporated that into the mountain wedding.
If you had it to do over, what would you change, add, or do differently?
Bride: She would like to actually enjoy my wedding cake instead of being whisked away for the first dance and dad/daughter dance.
Groom: He has always complained that he did not get enough time to enjoy his food/cake.
