On this serene and sunny October afternoon, Prince Weddings captured Brooke and Andrew’s beautiful wedding day. Brooke was a previous crew member with Prince Weddings so it made the day extra special! The crew had a wonderful time seeing her again. She really picked a great guy! Both Andrew and Brooke were so much fun to work with and we couldn’t be happier for them 🙂 The back drop for their wedding was the woodsy and lush Pine Rose Cabins, Hidden Creek in Lake Arrowhead. This very rustic and cozy venue served as the perfect setting for Brooke and Andrew to say their “I do’s.” There to capture everything was cinematographer Nathan and Jamie of Prince Weddings.

How did you meet?

We were introduced to each other online but met in person at a coffee shop. Our song, and the song featured in our video, is called Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop, because we fell in love as we got to know each other at the coffee shop.

How long did you plan the wedding after the proposal?

Our venue was all inclusive, so we really had all the major decisions (cake, flowers, photographer, DJ, caterer, etc) planned in a day. We got married about a year and a half after the proposal to accommodate another family members wedding and a relocation to Colorado.

The top 3 challenges/difficulties of planning the wedding.

1. Other’s opinions
2. So many choices for everything! Venues, cakes, djs, photographers, etc
3. The guest list! Weddings get more expensive the bigger they are, but you want to invite everyone!

The top 3 most fun/easiest parts of planning the wedding.

1. Picking our venue! We knew the moment we took a tour, this was where we wanted to get married.
2. For Brooke, getting the wedding dress!
3. Brooke used to work for Prince Productions, so picking them to film the wedding was easy!

What fun/unique feature of your wedding made you the proudest?

We loved the woodsy, rustic feel to it. It was the best way to get married in nature but still have the comfort of a ballroom type venue.

If you had it to do over, what would you change, add or do differently?

We would probably keep it the same. It was an amazing day!
