Taking the Table Assignment to the Next Level
It all starts with the Guestbook presentation. Fun and frisky or formally formatted, send your guests on their way (to their seats, that is!) with table assignment cards that create excitement and offer a hint of the festivities to come.
Incorporate The Theme
Invite your friends and family to embrace their inner child with oversized, carnival-colored swirls of lollipop. Make sure the pops are large enough to share, as one card is traditionally used for each couple. Planting the beribboned suckers in a freshly natural lawn of wheatgrass is an exuberant touch –perfect for a frolicsome milieu. This sugar rush of a display will surely bring a grin to faces as they search for their names!
Detail Makes The Difference
Diminutive bottles of sophisticated Bordeaux or tasteful Chablis are sure to impress at an adults only soiree. Create a display (and a mood!) with wooden wine crates and poufs of excelsior. Place the table assignment card presentation near the entrance or in the center of your venue to allow guests to approach from all sides. The last thing you want to worry about is cleaning up broken wine bottles, after all!
Highlight an outdoor setting with some feathered friends punched from cardstock and artfully arranged in moss lined nests. Mount the nests on natural wooden pedestals to make names easier to find. Finish by tucking in some random branches and strategically placed rose blooms. Make it easy for your guests to find their rightful place in your scheme of things by arranging the seating cards in alphabetical order by last names.
Whether you call them escort cards, seating cards or table-assignment cards, these powerful pieces of paper will steer your well-wishers to their home base. All that’s left is to settle in and let the festivities begin!
