About This City
Moorpark is a city in Ventura County in Southern California. It was founded in 1900 with the application by Inocencio C. Villegas to create the town’s first post office. It is home to roughly 35,000 people. “Old Town Moorpark” is the area surrounding High Street, and is the historic center of the city. This area also features the High Street Arts Center (a Performing Arts center operated by the city), and various restaurants and businesses.
