The intimate perfection of the Japanese Garden in Long Beach creates a rustic and romantic setting for weddings, receptions, anniversary celebrations, baby showers and photo sessions. The site's privacy and impeccably maintained grounds attract discerning couples seeking a unique outdoor setting for their wedding. Surrounded by tall trees, the elegant 1.3-acre garden features a lush green forest landscape, the perfect foil for a gracefully arched bridge, shimmering Koi pond, and sparkling waterfalls. The garden's natural beauty inspires dreams of love and provides the ideal backdrop for the
wedding ceremony. When you book the garden you get a coordinator and staff to setup and breakdown your event and to make sure everything is done the way you in vision it.
We have a 1200 sq. foot tent with an adjacent patio with bistro lights for weddings that can be used in several ways, a. for large weddings we can set up for the dancing and use a very large dance floor with a second bar and lounge furniture or cocktail tables. B. for weddings of 80 or less, we can do the dinner and dancing in this area which appeals to smaller groups that like the coziness of the space.

Ceremony

There is seating for up to 200 guests for your ceremony. Your guests sit on the left side of the garden to watch the bride walk down the isle on the right side of the pond.
Reception

We have seating for 165. We decorate the garden with Japanese Lanterns in the courtyard and candles around the pond as well as other decorative lighting to create a romantic ambiance for an evening reception.
