After five years together they got engaged on Christmas day! Megan and Robert celebrated their Rehearsal Dinner and their Wedding Day in style at the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa in San Bernardino County, Southern California. They were able to find their venue and vendors quickly! We met on Match.com.
How long did you plan the wedding after the proposal?
We got engaged on Christmas Day after 5 years of being together. We booked the wedding location and our vendors right away. We then took time over the next few months working on the details and decor. We got married in October.

The top 3 most fun/easiest parts of planning the wedding.
1. The best part of the wedding planning was our theme and working on the decor. We incorporated the mountain aspects. It was so much fun incorporating this into our wedding (antlers, leaves, pine cones, ect). Our florist Debbra Robertson with Fleuris Flower Studio was out of this world. Her work was amazing and her ideas she provided during the planning process were wonderful.
2. Our vendors were all wonderful and very helpful. This made the planning process and day of the wedding smooth.
3. Having a wedding coordinator really made the planning more fun and helpful. Courtney Urquiza with In Style Events was amazing.
What fun/unique feature of your wedding made you the proudest?
It would be hard to pick just one thing, but our overall look of the wedding is what I would be most proud of. There were four areas of the wedding and they all came out gorgeous (ceremony site, cocktail hour room, hallway outside of the reception, and the reception room. I spent a lot of time of thinking of each area of space and how to decorate.
If you had it to do over, what would you change, add or do differently?
I would do nothing different. The wedding turned out great overall. We were so lucky to have amazing family and friends that shared in our special day.
